Before Ethan could even drop his car keys, two officers stood up and commanded him to put his hands behind his back.<\/p>\n

“Ethan Walker? You are under arrest for reckless endangerment and criminal neglect,” one officer stated, clicking handcuffs tightly around his wrists.<\/p>\n

“Wait! What? Where is my wife? Where is my baby?” Ethan stammered, his face turning entirely pale as he looked at the blood on the floor. The reality of what he had done finally began to pierce through his arrogance.<\/p>\n

“Your wife survived. No thanks to you,” the detective in the suit said, walking over. “She suffered a placental abruption.
